Their unique design was described by Wired as having “architectural integrity…as unbroken as the dome of St Peter’s”. Blunt Umbrellas are known for standing up to the elements as no other umbrella can.
Greig and Scott’s slow-burning success fully ignited after they chose to go against the traditional umbrella industry distribution model to take their technology to the world. Frustrated with the reluctance of global distributors to veer away from a planned obsolescence model in favour of selling a high-end product that will last, the Blunt team made the decision to take on creating their own global distribution network. They forged their brand around a reputation for innovation and integrity. Through wooing the loyalty of the people they are on their way to winning over the business world.
